HOME OFFICE TIP

Before extending an invitation to a client to come to your
home office, take a look at your hospitality area. Does it
have adequate seating? Is there enough space for you to spread
out files or other presentation materials? Is the lighting
adequate? At the very least, you will need a couple of comfortable
armchairs, good lighting, and a table of some sort. If you will
need to access your computer during the meeting, plan your route
beforehand and decide whether the client will accompany you to the
monitor or will wait in the hospitality area while you pull up the
necessary data.

Creating an Income, Using the Internet

You've seen the ads: "Make $10,000 a week - GUARANTEED!! The
internet is overflowing with them. Sounds appealing, doesn't
it? Of course it does! But is it possible?

It is not realistic to say that it is impossible. There are no
doubt a few folks who are getting rich overnight. But it is
most definitely not PROBABLE! You mean these ads are lying????
People lie on the internet??? DUH!!!

What IS the truth about building an ebusiness? Well, the truth
is.....YOU can do it! Anyone can - if you are willing to
W...O...R...K! That's ALL there is to it! Sound simple?
Yeah, right, you say. But we ARE telling you the truth.
Creating your own internet income is very possible. IF you
are willing to give it what it takes.

So, what DOES it take? Here are a few basic necessities that
every Ebusiness requires, in order to create the foundation
for success:

*A Product - You must have something of value to sell. You can
come up with your own product, or sell someone else's product.
Creating your own product and getting others to sell it is the
ultimate!

*A Website - You need a site so that you can show your product
to the world! And guess what - that's who your audience is!
The world!!! That's the beauty of the internet. Your website
is YOU to the world. Quality is a necessity, if you want
credibility. There are MANY resources available for creating a
site.  Do your homework - don't settle for quick and cheap.

*A Domain Name - You NEED your own domain name. Yes, it will
be an expense. And possibly an investment you'll have to make
before you start bringing in any income to speak of. But it
will also be a REASON that you will start earning income.
Owning your own domain is a necessity if you want to be taken
seriously. There are numerous places to purchase domain names.
Stick with a well established company that you know will be
around forever, or you could have problems with transfers or
sales later.

*A Dependable Web Host - Your web host is the company that
puts your site on the internet. Yes, there are an endless
number of free hosting services. And these are great for a
site you are doing for fun, one of your kids' personal sites,
etc. But, putting your Ebusiness on a free hosting service is
a bit risky, and once again, reduces your credibility.
Prices vary, and so does the level of service.

These are four of the MOST basic components of a successful
Ebusiness. The following two are also critical, but might be
considered your marketing necessities.

*An Ezine - No site should be without an Ezine (Electronic
Magazine) or newsletter. This is your connection to that
"world" we were talking about! It KEEPS you connected, and
builds the relationships that are critical to success.

An Ebook (or 2!) - Ebooks are quickly becoming THE hottest
product on the Internet. Whether you create one to sell as
a product, or to give away as a marketing tool, ebooks are
fast becoming a necessity, if you are going to keep your
business on the cutting edge!

OK - now we've told you what the basics are. Now for
the fun part:  Learning where and how to get them, and how
to use them! (Here comes the WORK!)

You can spend all your valuable time chasing after the perfect
"get-rich-this-week" program.  Or you can take your time and
apply it to educating yourself on creating a legitimate
Ebusiness. (I would recommend the latter!) Once again, that's
the beauty of the Internet!  It's all out there for the taking!
